Our clients include numerous companies holding one or more patents, where we participate in the development of their business strategy (primarily from a research and development perspective). We are also asked to join a company’s Board of Directors to provide our direct advice on the intellectual property value as a natural extension of the firm's involvement in its IP servises.
Clients turn to us as an IP boutique specializing in specific technologies at the stage of initially defining long-term market needs, or at the stage of invention. In many cases, our goal to farther our clients objectives, which allows us to keep a pulse on which types of legal defense the client will be entitled to and when. In other cases, we represent potential buyers of technology, and in these cases we deal with more mature products with proven track records of success in the market (and in court).
Our aim is to further our clients' overall business and intellectual property protection strategy and to take broad actions that further their goals. To this end, we conduct novelty, validity and state-of-the-art patent searches; invalidity and non-infringement investigations and analyses; assess IP valuation and provide an international protection strategy, including preparation of patent applications, prosecution before patent offices worldwide, maintenance and enforcement of patents trademarks and designs.
